Fog Companion

Your callouts on screen for the map you actually loaded into, and a 1v1 chase timer that starts and stops itself.

Fog Companion reads what is happening in your match — which map loaded, whether you are in a menu or in the trial, when a chase opens and when it ends — and acts on it. There is nothing to set up mid-match and nothing to alt-tab to.

Callouts, on the map you are on

• The map is recognised for you. Load in, and the right graphic is already on screen.
• Size, position and transparency are yours to set.
• Packs stack like resource packs. Run several at once — each replaces only the maps it actually covers, and you decide which one wins.
• Every map and variation is browsable from inside the game.

1v1 mode

• The timer starts on the opener and stops on the down. A swing on killer, a crouch on survivor. Nothing to press.
• Blight and Nurse are recognised on their own, and the opener follows their power — a Rush or a Blink instead of a swing.
• Both sides are timed: how long you lasted as survivor, and how long your opponent lasted against you. Whoever survived longer takes the game.

Fog Companion Hub is the app's web side, and your account is the same one.

• Draw a callout pack in the Studio. Block out the walls, name the areas, set one palette for the whole pack. It starts from the house style, so a first pack looks like it belongs next to the others rather than like factory defaults.
• Timer themes are HTML and CSS, with an editor and a live preview running against a real clock.
• Two stores, browsable before you sign in — callout packs and timer themes, made by the people who use them.
• What you pick is in the game instantly. No restart, no files to move.
• Everything published is reviewed first, so the store is work somebody stood behind.

While you stream

• OBS follows the match. Connect it once, and your scene changes when the game does — lobby, loading, in the trial.

The practical part

• Hotkeys are yours to choose, so nothing needs you to leave the game.
• Detection runs on your machine. The app reads its own screenshots locally; nothing about your match is uploaded to run it, and you can switch map and killer detection off.
• Every feature is free. Nothing here is held back behind a tier.
• Windows, through Overwolf, for Dead by Daylight. An account is a Discord sign-in.

To the best of my knowledge, using Overwolf alongside Dead by Daylight has not been shown to result in bans. I cannot guarantee that this remains true, and I accept no responsibility or liability for any ban, suspension, or other account-related consequence arising from the use of this application or of Overwolf.

The app is built for information and for practice. It does not modify the game, read restricted game data, or give any advantage inside a match.
